Applicant Information

Program Overview

The Prodigal's Home is a Christ-centered discipleship program for men. It is not a homeless shelter. Participation requires full commitment to spiritual growth, accountability, and structured living.

Program Structure

  • Phase 1Discipleship (180 Days): Root issues, counseling, classes, spiritual foundation. No cell phones or vehicles.
  • Phase 2Workforce Development (90 Days): Job skills, hands-on training, computer literacy. Cell phones allowed.
  • Phase 3Reintegration (15 Months): Full-time employment, curfew, vehicles allowed with proper documentation.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Immediate dismissal for drugs, alcohol, violence, weapons, stealing, sexual activity, harassment, medication abuse, or refusal to test.

Additional Expectations

  • Tobacco-free campus
  • No cell phones for first 6 months
  • No paid employment for first 6 months
  • Residents are not tenants
  • Daily room cleaning and chore completion required
